Gallup Poll: Trump’s Job Approval Dips to New Low Following Flynn’s Charges

While Michael Flynn delivers a knockout blow to what is left of Trump’s presidency, a new poll emerges of Trump’s latest approval rating and things are not looking too good for the so-called president.

As reported by Gallup, Trump’s approval rating has resurfaced to a record-breaking low. Among the survey, his approval sits at 34% (-2) while his disapproval reaches a whopping 60% (+3). The president’s job approval plunges to 34-60, his worst showing since October and just one point above his all time low of 33. Trump is *twenty six points underwater.* Daily results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults; Margin of error is ±3 percentage points.

Also note that the trend is sharply downward: from minus-17 on Nov 28 (55-38) to minus-26 on Nov 30 (60-34). Now, take into consideration that this doesn’t include today’s Flynn news quite yet – it’s a 3-day rolling average, which means it did end yesterday.

After today’s Flynn charges, we can likely expect it to plummet even lower.

More than likely, Trump’s low numbers are due to his retweeting of an anti-Muslim hate group that prompted the UK to postpone his visit, the Republican proposed tax bill that only benefits the wealthy, and Trump’s constant endorsement of a sexual predator.
