Former CIA Director James Comey just took yet another pointed jab at President Trump with the announcement of the title of his upcoming book, taking to Twitter to echo his most famous pronouncements: “Lordy, I hope there are tapes.”
Comey uttered those words during his deposition before the Senate Intelligence Committee in response to President Trump’s likely false insinuations that he had recorded his secret conversations with Comey about “backing off” the probe into the Trump campaign team and their alleged collusion with agents of the Russian Federation.
James “Reinhold Niebuhr” Comey announced the title of his upcoming tell-all today entitled “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership” with a trolling joke that speaks for itself.
The use of the word “loyalty” is a double jab because Trump sat him down and demanded he swear loyalty to him, thus beginning the series of events that led to Comey’s firing and the appointment of Robert Mueller to oversee an independent investigation into what happened in the 2016 election.

Comey’s secret Twitter account was exposed a few months ago by Gizmodo reporter Ashley Feinberg. He has since admitted it was him and has begun tweeting regularly but still remains under the Niebuhr moniker.
