Jim Carrey’s latest paintings of the Trumps cannot be unseen

This week, actor and artist Jim Carrey, who has been painting images of the principal figures in the Trump administration in outrageously satirical poses and accompanied by deeply critical captions, posted two new images.

Earlier this week he portrayed two young men who look suspiciously like Don Jr. and Eric Trump. They’re both fond of big game hunting and have posted pictures of themselves with the carcases of animals, including elephants.

Carrey’s image is a picture of the two hunters being gored to death by an elephant while they continue to clutch their guns. The caption reads, simply, #teamelephant:

Twitter had a field day with this one:

Then, on Thursday, Carrey posted a new image of Trump himself. The caption reads,

Dear Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery @NPG, I know it’s early but I’d like to submit this as the official portrait of our 45th President, Donald J. Trump. It’s called, “You Scream. I Scream. Will We Ever Stop Screaming?”

The image shows Trump in front of a bowl of chocolate ice cream—two scoops, as he always demands, plus whipped cream and cherries, while the president, clad in a blue terrycloth bathrobe, strokes one of his nipples in apparent ecstasy:
