Just In: Key Witness Against Trump/Flynn Investigation Goes Missing

At this point, the legal trouble for President Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has reached its boiling point.

However, the most notable of the allegations currently against Flynn is the one in which he conspired with the government of Turkey to kidnap a guy in Pennsylvania and have him shipped overseas, a plot which ultimately never panned out.

Well, strangely enough, according to an Associated Press (AP) report published recently in the Miami Herald, a key witness against Michael Flynn has suddenly vanished. Some believe that he’s cut a deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller and is now cooperating in his investigation of the case.

Reza Zarrab, the aforementioned witness (and resident of Trump Towers Istanbul, mind you), has been in jail awaiting trial for several charges involving the government of Turkey. According to records from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, Zarrab was released from custody on Nov. 8. However, Prosecutors claim he is still “in federal custody,” but have not specified where.

According to the AP report, Zarrab failed to show up to his trial on Monday, and is said to have suddenly and mysteriously gone missing.

What’s puzzling about this first and foremost is that NO ONE really seems to know why, and NO ONE has been able (or willing) to say where he is.

However, perhaps what’s even more puzzling is the fact that the judge presiding over his trial, U.S. District Judge Richard Berman, doesn’t seem to be all that concerned. He has simply delayed the trial proceedings by a week.

Hmmm. Logic would suggest Zarrab is simply away because he is too busy testifying in Robert Mueller’s grand jury against Michael Flynn, but I don’t know. Seems a little suspicious if you ask me.
