McConnell Refuses to Protect Mueller, Then Russian Money Trail is Found

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has arrested three of Trump’s former campaign advisers and one has already pled guilty to collusion. The Republicans in congress who had Trump’s back all this time are suddenly missing and seem at peace with letting Trump ride this out alone.

Senate Majoirty Leader Mitch McConnell, however, appears to be panicking and basically admitting his own guilt in this giant mess.

Several Senators on both sides of the aisle are trying to protect Robert Mueller and let them take Trump down if that’s what needs to happen. If they try to fire Mueller, they only make themselves look guilty.

This appears to be the driving force between those trying to shield Mueller, but McConnell showed everyone that he is not on board with that plan.

CNN’s Manu Raju tweeted that “McConnell does not commit to making floor time for bills to protect special counsel.”

Clearly, he is hoping Trump does in fact fire Robert Mueller. This shows just how afraid McConnell is of a thorough Trump-Russia investigation.

Don’t forget, Mitch McConnell received millions from the Kremlin and he’s clearly very nervous with the situation right now. Maybe he has plenty to hide.

Dallas News points out:

During the 2015-2016 election season, Ukrainian-born billionaire Leonard “Len” Blavatnik contributed $6.35 million to leading Republican candidates and incumbent senators. Mitch McConnell was the top recipient of Blavatnik’s donations, collecting $2.5 million for his GOP Senate Leadership Fund under the names of two of Blavatnik’s holding companies, Access Industries and AI Altep Holdings, according to Federal Election Commission documents and

McConnell received $2.5 million from a Kremlin-connected oligarch in a year that he wasn’t even up for reelection. Putin’s connection with McConnell has yet to be uncovered, but odds are high it has something to do with the election.

We can only hope Robert Mueller uncovers the details soon, because if McConnell is on board with firing him, there’s something juicy he’s hiding.
