“Watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!”
Tapper shut down Miller after a heated debate this Sunday, claiming that he did not want to waste his viewers’ time with the discussion.
“I get it. There’s one viewer that you care about right now and you’re being obsequious and you’re being a factotum in order to please him, okay,” Tapper said after debating with the Trump aide.
“And I think I’ve wasted enough of my viewers’ time. Thank you, Stephen,” Tapper added before concluding the interview.
Miller had been coming to the defense of the president by lashing out against the network’s coverage of the White House.
“Not only do I think they help it, but I think in the toxic environment that you’ve created here and CNN and cable news, which is a real crisis of legitimacy for your network,” Miller said.
Tensions between the Trump administration and the network have been growing over the past year.
Trump famously branded the channel as “fake news” a year ago.
Free speech is under attack in America and the people suppressing it are those who were once tasked with the responsibility of protecting it.
