Powerful Democrat just warned Trump against using hostages as “Bargaining Chips” Details

Just because some good things happen while Donald Trump is in office, doesn’t mean he accomplished them. In fact, the further Donald distances himself from an issue, the sooner it gets resolved. Such was the case this week, when some hostages were freed from North Korea. And, as you could imagine, Trump has been gloating about this ever since the news broke.

Senator Charles Schumer was happy to learn of the hostages regaining their freedom, but he made sure to offer up a stern warning to the ever-inept Donald Trump administration. Schumer said, “We cannot forget: No regime has the right to hold American citizens in captivity without cause, and under no circumstances should American citizens be viewed as bargaining chips.”

For those that missed it, Trump initially tweeted, “I am pleased to inform you that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the air and on his way back from North Korea with the 3 wonderful gentlemen that everyone is looking so forward to meeting. They seem to be in good health. Also, good meeting with Kim Jong Un. Date & Place set.”
