Watch: Sarah Huckabee Sanders Just Failed Trying To Prove The White House Is Not Racist

The day after Alabama Republican Roy Moore lost the Senate race to Democrat Doug Jones due to the overwhelming support of black voters, President Donald Trump sacked Omarosa Manigault-Newman, his corespondent who was responsible for fostering the White House relations with the black community.

And then, less than a day after that, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders struggled to name a single black staff member who worked in the White House.

During a press conference, NBC’s Kristen Welker asked Sanders to name senior staffers within the White House who are black.

And Sanders stuttered and stumbled to find an answer. “We always want to continue to grow the diversity here,” she said, evading the question. Eventually, she added, “I don’t have a number directly in front of me, specifically not African-American.”

So, Sanders couldn’t name more than two black people she knew Trump had spoken to, but neither of whom worked for him.
