Stormy Daniels, President Donald Trump’s porn star mistress, is back in the news Sunday, and once again she’s found a way to rattle the commander-in-chief and his fawning fanboys who are desperately clinging to the diminishing possibility that she’s making everything about their affair up.
Trump gave them hope late last week when he denied knowing anything about the $130,000 payment made by his lawyer, Michael Cohen, to Daniels in exchange for her silence over an affair the two had in 2006, not long after Trump’s third wife Melania gave birth to their son.
Now that he’s weighed in with what’s at best an implausible claim given everything we know, Daniels is fighting back. Her combative lawyer, Michael Avenatti, released a photograph on his Twitter account Sunday afternoon showing Daniels with a “forensic artist,” to whom she’s describing someone – or something – relevant to the case.

Based on the hashtag #thugsearch Avenatti included in the tweet, the implication of hiring Lois Gibson to join the team is that Daniels is describing the man she says threatened her and her child in a parking lot in 2011 shortly after she first attempted to sell her story of the affair to a magazine for $15,000.
“And a guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,’” she told Anderson Cooper on 60 minutes “And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.”
She added that, while not knowing who the man was, nor ever seeing him again, she vividly recalled what he looked like and that she’d be able to pick him out of a line-up.
“If I did, I would know it right away,” she said. “100%. Even now, all these years later. If he walked in this door right now, I would instantly know.”
After Daniels 60 minutes interview aired, legal experts pointed to that person as a potential smoking gun. Find that man, and prove he’s linked to either Trump or Cohen, and the president would be exposed to a whole new batch or legal problems.
