The first thing that came to Donald Trump’s mind this morning was to send an angry tweet in which he rants about Alec Baldwin, who is most recently known for his impersonation of Trump on Saturday Night Live.
Initially, Trump’s ranting tweet consisted of him spelling Alec’s name wrong, as well as the word “dying,” and refers to himself as “DJT.” After realizing his many mistakes, he quickly deleted the tweet and started over. Here is the original one:
He, then, came back a second time to right his wrongs, but still felt confident in his argument so kept most of it the same:
Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!

The tweet was Trump’s response to an interview in which Baldwin had with Hollywood Reporter, saying of the impression that “every time I do it now, it’s like agony. Agony. I can’t.”
Trump commented that he liked Darrell Hammond’s impersonation better. Hammond is a former SNL cast member who playing Donald Trump well before he became president, until 2016 when Baldwin took over.
Twitter ran with this:
I love how someone who is against you is always mediocre, a loser, or overrated. Yes, he's an Oscar nominee, 11X (3 wins) Golden Globe nominee, 17X (3Wins) Emmy Award nominee. But yeah…mediocre career.
