White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders has a new favorite hobby to indulge: ignoring CNN’s questions during press briefings. And CNN’s top reporter, Tim Acosta, is sick of it. On Monday, after Sanders ignored his inquiries for the third briefing in a raw, Acosta went out of his way to get her attention, but Sanders abandoned ship, wrapping up the briefing quickly. So Acosta sent a message in the form of the White House’s favorite means of communication: Twitter.
Acosta tweeted, “Third press briefing in a row that @PressSec did not take a question from CNN.”

Sanders attacked him, tweeting, “Courage isn’t taking “a question from CNN,” Jim. Courage is combat veterans Sgt. Peck and Staff Sgt. Dwyer – the two heroes at the briefing. #itsnotaboutyou.”

Twitter users rushed to defend Acosta and destroy the Press Secretary for her senseless tweet:
I'm sure you also mean @SenJohnMcCain. You know, the vet Trump doesn't respect. Or the Gold Star families. Those vets?

No, it’s about prison. Hope you and your boss like stripes. We all know he likes the color orange, so that’s good.

Courage is opposing the corrupt, criminal regime for which you work, Ma'am.
